I’m low on pictures today but high on experience!

I’m always so happy and grateful when I reach out to someone who I aspire to emulate, whether it be in design, blogging, parenting… hell, LIFE in general… and that person takes the time to reach right back and say hi… and sometimes even hang out!

This is exactly what happened this week when I emailed one of my favorite bloggers, Erin Gates, from Elements of Style. She mentioned on her blog that she would be in town as part of the Life Improvement Project, so I asked her out on a lunch date… and she said yes :).

… and it was a good date.

Now I don’t kiss and tell… but she was as lovely as can be and very open to share her experiences in work and in the blogging world. Thank you Erin for trusting in a total stranger to take you on a min-tour of some off-the-beaten-path LA design spots!

Here are a few pics of where we went today (It’s limited…I kinda wanted to just enjoy the experience and not be all up in her face and stuff, ya know 😉 ?)
