This weekend was just one of those great weekends… a weekend full of great weather, great friends, great events, a ton of inspiration and lots and lots of quality family time.
We started off Saturday morning at Fertility Planit at UCLA (my alma mater), where my hubby was a speaker. The conference is ALL things fertility… giving couples looking to conceive… the best options possible. The hubs was there to stress the importance of health and fitness, of course!
Afterwards… we headed to Joy Cho’s (of Oh Joy!) launch party for The Land Of Nod. She’s taking over the world (such and idol and inspiration… kicking myself over my lack of “selfie” with her), and it’s the kind of world I’d love to live in… full of garden parties and ice cream pillows! She just launched the Oh Joy! for Target Party Collection, and now Oh Joy! For Nod has blessed us with all kinds of yumminess for your kid’s room! I’m talking fruity pillows, confetti elephants, ice cream, pastels and happy hearts… I’d like to move in, STAT!
Can we talk about the adorableness of this bus, those pants, that bow (Studio DIY is the model of preppy perfection)?

It was a great couple of days capped off last night with the Muppet Movie at the historic El Capitan theatre (what’s better than Miss Piggy in a Vivienne Westwood wedding gown… I mean, REALLY), and I’m feeling in the groove, surrounded by love and inspired. One minor disappointment led to another great opportunity… and I can’t WAIT to share that with you VERY SOON!
