In this world of online communication… there’s nothing better than rifling through your good old-fashioned snail mail and a pile of bills to find a handwritten note, invite or thank you card peeking out at you. It’s like a little ray of sunshine beaming through that dark, black hole of a mailbox.

They’re also beautiful just sitting on your desk, begging to be sent. I LOVE me some gorgeous cards!

I was writing some thank you notes this weekend, and I finally finished the last custom, letterpress stationery I had made post-wedding almost nine years ago. OH… the sadness!

… and searching my files for more cards, I realized I was in dire need of some backup!

Before I can go ordering up a new (cue expensive) batch of “thank you very much”, I need a re-stock on some simple, yet stylish sets.

Here are a few of my new faves…

1. Hostess Greeting Card: Rifle Paper Co. “delivers” year-round with gorgeous goods (have you seen the new wallpaper line?)… and this thank you card serves up some serious cuteness. I’ll have what she’s having…

2. Mint Thank You: From a perennial fave (Sugar Paper… where my custom beauties originated)… these cards remind me of mint chocolate chip ice cream, but with gold chips… mmmm dreamy.

3. Sophisticated Merci: I love a good envelope lining as much as a great card. These polka dots had me at first flip of the lid. Merci Sugar Paper.

4. Triangular Thank You Cards (yellow): From Minted… here’s that ray of sunshine I was talking about 😉 .

5. Palm Thanks So Much Card: From Patricia Sohn of Our Heiday, these cards are the new kids on the stationery scene. I love what she’s doing and where’s she’s going… and I’m lucky to have collaborated with her while she was finding her footing post law school (read her story for some inspiration on going for your goals!).

6. THX (gold): Tres simple, tres chic… these cards are from the paper line of  Paperless Post. Sometimes less = more.
