I was searching online last week for some affordable plug-in sconce options for an E-Deesign client (more info on E-Deesign coming soon as I prepare to launch a new website in the next few months!), when I happened to land on Urban Outfitters.

I have to admit… I haven’t researched the Urban Outfitters home section in quite some time. Mind = Blown.

If you are a fan of California designers and stylists such as Amber Interiors and Whitney Leigh Morris of The Tiny Canal Cottage, you can achieve the look affordably with a just a few (or many!) of their items!

I’ve rounded up my favorites below!

Can you show me your California Cool style? I’d love to see your skills!

Copper ladder… Cool Factor? Bohemian It Girl With An Edge.

Assembly Home Anais Chair… Instagram worthy on its own.

Vintage Indigo Kantha Blanket… If you can’t make it to one of the California Flea Markets, this vintage throw will do quite nicely.

A signature Tiny Canal Cottage style piece… you can attempt the DIY here… or “make” it easy here 😉 .

I Woke Up Like This Bath Mat… Because who doesn’t need a little humor in the morning?

Locust Beaker Sconce… These sconces are on point… and so is the price. I picked up a more “classic” sconce for my client’s more ladylike room, but I have to say I love them all.

Reclaimed Wood Tub Caddy… Reclaimed wood? CHECK. Now relax in your hopefully vintage claw-foot tub.

Arrow Side Table… I love me some arrow themed ANYTHING (in the right doses… see here)… and this arrow table with a marble top does it right. Classic AND cool… now that’s a great combo!
