If you didn’t catch it yesterday… I wrote my first freelance article for Domino.com, and I couldn’t be more thrilled! If you read this blog, then I know you have a stash of old Domino magazines, like me, that you just can’t get rid of… and that’s because… I believe… they changed the face of interior design print media.

More user-friendly and accessible than their predecessors…  Domino handed over the designing reins to anyone at home who wanted to give it the old college try with ideas that were indeed “do-able”.

Now a quarterly magazine (which I wait for breathlessly)… they also produce daily content online, with shoppable stories and features that, again, motivate readers to build their own gallery walls, get the “look” of, style an adorable nursery, etc.

I’m honored to be a small part of this team, and can’t wait to submit more projects!

You can read the full article here… and SHOP the story to bring the CA farmhouse aesthetic to your own home.

I just want to post more pretty pictures from Carla Choy… and salivate over that tasty brunch we had.

Enjoy Farmshop CA!

Separate bar set up = skip the brunch and go straight for the bloody mary…

Wouldn’t be farmhouse style without a farmhouse table!

LOVE the dramatic vase and arrangement…

Get in my belly…

These rope lights are super cool. I’m contemplating something similar for a new client of mine…

I like to pretend I have perfectly curated bowls of vegetables sitting around on my countertops…

… I don’t (except for the perfectly curated photo shoots). But THIS (above) would be doable every day. Everyone needs a gorgeous wood salad bowl with dried wheat sheaves in their life.

A pop of red to brighten up the marketplace…

… and some very on trend ceramic serve ware.

These fixtures are serene and simple.

… as is this shot of my behind… and this cute tote from Apolis! 😉
