Hi Luvs! If you didn’t catch it… I had teased this video WAY back… like MONTHS back on my Instagram. I had been saving it for a few reasons.

The main reason… I wanted to wait until my website redesign was complete! Shiny new videos call for a proper platform, no?

The second… and more personal reason… is that OMG I am STILL not comfortable doing them (but I know I need to get over that sh**)!!!

I have vowed to get on Snapchat STAT, just so I can start working on my skills… because I am WAY more funny and outlandish than this video implies!!!

I also have some great tips… and straight up text is SO early 2000!

… so go easy on me guys. I have a few more of these in my first trial run… and I’ll roll them out nice and slowly, while getting my comedy act together for round two!

The Recap:

  • When mixing throw pillows with varying patterns, keep the color scheme consistent and things won’t get out of hand!
  • Always pop in a pillow or two with added texture such as fringe, leather accents or sequins (in small doses).
  • Stick with an odd number of pillows as a rule of thumb. It just works.

Note To Self:

  • Take the damn rubber band off your wrist (I can’t tell you how many photos my hair tie has made a cameo appearance in).
  • Search for background music that has a little less “late night” vibe.
  • Practice makes perfect… you did great 😉 .

What other kinds of tips/videos would you like to get/see? What are your most hard to handle home decor issues? What area do you stare at every day that drives you absolutely bananas? I’d love to help you with that!

A big shout out to Kristen Turner and Amelia Damplo for their directing, camera, and editing expertise. If you need to hire someone for this type of job… these ladies are amazing!
