In honor of my all-time favorite magazine’s recent comeback, I find it fitting that I claim my own. Now in no way do I regard my comeback to be as momentous as Domino Magazine, in fact I’m not sure if you can QUITE call my return to the blogosphere a comeback at all with only one previous post (for shame!), but I am thinking BIG, and Domino is as big of an inspiration as you can get! If you haven’t picked up their Quick Fixes Special Edition, it’s on newsstands now. I’ve attached a few of my favorite images and DIY golden nuggests below. Domino… How I’ve missed you!!!Interestingly enough, my last post (dated Jan 3, 2011) was titled Don’t Pause for Pregnancy, which I didn’t (I started my design business, furnished an amazing house in the Palisades, redecorated my own home and more). What happened? A beautiful, baby boy named Parker arrived and blew my mind, and any spare time I had… away. I quote myself from previous said blog, “Now if I can just get some advice on how to keep this up now that baby boy is here… any suggestions?”.I obviously didn’t get any good advice, or maybe I just chose to ignore it 😉 but almost a year and a half later and I am ready to begin anew! Look for posts on design, products, people, places, kids and sometimes just life in general. It’s Spring and I have sprung from my baby-dazed hiatus! I hope you enjoy what you find here. MaMa’s gonna knock you out…

The cover is actually my fave shot of the entire issue... how sweet is that settee?

Painted stairs are nothing new, but they sure are fun! I might even love them MORE than a traditional runner.

Gorgeous tile with a pop of color in an otherwise all-white entry.

I love everything about this office, but I'm coveting that wallpaper big time!

I am DYING over this entire office, but it’s the wallpaper I’m coveting the most!

Don't be an art snob... put anything in an "important-looking" frame and it becomes wall worthy. Get your gallery going!

Of course I’m not the only one honoring Domino’s comeback. Head over to One King’s Lane for their A Week of Domino Quick Fixes, shop the stories, and get a complimentary copy of the magazine with any purchase!
