I LOVE me some Milly! I think the fabric choices are so spot on and beautiful, and more importantly timeless. I use their dresses as permanent decoration in my room, as they could easily go from my closet to couch cushion in an instant! That’s what great fabrics do… they are interchangeable.
Even though Milly launched their handbags early last year, I was too enamored (and exhausted) by my newest 8lb, 21in, blue-eyed accessory to take any notice. But strolling through Bloomingdales the other day, I finally laid eyes on their current collection.
What I love most, is what they do best… fabrics. I love the totes… “totes”. They stand out significantly like their dresses do. But to be frank… I’m not entirely sold on the other pieces. I’ll need to see more to be convinced they are as special as the rest of their line.
Gorgeous red and white tote bag. I could see this fabric on a fun and flirty dress or a pencil skirt. I like the bamboo turn lock on the clutch, but I feel like I’ve seen the rest before.
Again… in LOVE with the tote. Where do they find their fabrics? The handbag is cute, but cute does not make me want to cough up the cash like the tote does.
