My son turns one-and-a-half tomorrow and I have cake on the brain… or more like half of a cake. In order to display his 1/2 Birthday dessert properly, I actually have to reclaim a cake stand from its repurposed place in my home. You see… I LOVE cake stands and I find them too beautiful to be stored away in a closet, getting dusty and dingy from dis-use. I think it’s something we do all too often with our special occasion dishware… banish them away. Set them free… put them out on display!!!
Dirty mouth? Let them eat cake… soap cake 🙂 .
One of my faves, this cake stand does double duty on my desk… clears some space underneath while concealing some not-so-cute clips in a gorgeous container.
