I want to give a special shout out to my friend Roselyn Sanchez. She kicked some major butt (with not a lot of time to spare for training) and finished the sprint of her 2012 Roselyn Sanchez Triathlon for Life. The triathlon benefits the San Jorge Children’s Foundation. Hubby and I participated 2 years ago, but since the kiddo, we have not found time to train and travel. But we’ve already decided to man up for next year’s event! It’s in beautiful Puerto Rico, it benefits children, and you get in great shape… It’s a win win win! Congrats Ros!
Speaking of great shapes… have you seen the new Body Language Sportswear campaign? It’s seriously sexy, sassy and motivating. I think I need to get some pieces and start training for my Vegas Bachelorette party in two weeks. I aim to be one hot mama!
Is anyone else as excited as me to have MTV’s House of Style returning next month? Models Joan Smalls and Karli Kloss are set to host the legendary pop culture remake. I hope they air some reruns of the original… although it will make me feel really old! Check out Rolling Stone for an interview with the hostesses with the mostesses.

I know we have our own Fashion Week, but I’m sorry Angelenos… it just doesn’t cut the mustard (or serve up dirty yummy street pretzels) like NY!
