We are back at Pearl Street and I’m ready to show you the family and powder room!

Remember when I hinted at the blue and green tie-in from the kitchenette?

Well here it is!

My client really wanted a joyful, colorful, sophisticated-boho home… and this room really delivers on “the mix”!

A vintage rug, green velvet sofa, natural elements and a pair of chairs reupholstered in one of my favorite fabrics is certainly eclectic… but it WORKS.

This photo shows why. The rug is patterned, but NEUTRAL. The art picks up the colors in both the rug and the chairs. The rest of the furniture is neutral.

My eyes are so happy!

You know what else makes me happy? The quiet moments “in-between”.

How sweet is this vintage piece topped by a modern clock from Design Within Reach?

Moving on to the ONE room we really ripped apart (except for the floor)…

It’s the powder room!

Definitely a fan-favorite on Instagram… this mini space packs a powerful punch with amazing wallpaper and an adorable sink.

I’m not sure how I found a soap dish to match… but I did. It was “design” intervention 😉 .

Across the hall? We had to let the laundry in on the fun too!

These two tiny rooms face each other and are “2x” the delight!

Next up? I’ll call it the most “challenging” space in the house. It put me through my paces… but I pushed through… and now it’s the “cool kid”.

Stay tuned for the living room reveal.
