Just got back from GORGEOUS Santa Barabara flying through the air (post to come ;)), visiting baby giraffes and lounging by the pool.

Not too shabby, right?

As I try to descend from cloud nine and return to Earth… it sure is hard to get into work mode (aaaand it’s Friday)!

I could be SO lazy and repost last year’s Mother’s Day Gift Guide… I mean it TOTALLY still applies. I’ll take everything on that list… EVERY SINGLE YEAR!

… but that’s not how I roll… I’m here to show you something new… and that’s what you should do for your MOM too!

1. Glass Pedestal Stand and Dome from Pottery Barn: Moms like containers. We just do. If they are extra pretty… then that’s a bonus! Sure I could put cupcakes in them like the pottery barn ad, but I think I’d put something unexpected in them instead… like my newly painted blue and orange pinecone from my own little cupcake ;).

2. Jennifer Fisher Mom Cuff: A bracelet for me… and $50.00 towards Every Mother Counts, founded by Christy Turlington Burns. Multiple reasons to feel great wearing this beauty…

3. Tortoiseshell iphone Case from Case-Mate: Most of us moms (unfortunately) are in constant contact with our phones… might as well make it pretty to look at!

4. Newport Monogrammed Linens by Matouk: Monograms give a sense of pride, and they’re pretty and classic. You don’t have to go “all in” with a full set of new linens… Just get your mommy some beautiful new pillow shams to rest her weary head on!

5. The Mother’s Day Set from the Drybar: I know this is a repeat, but it’s my only one… and it’s SO worth it! And now it comes with product… what mom on this planet doesn’t love product, and a yellow polka dot shower cap?

6. Magazine Subscription: So old school… but still oh so cool! You know why? Because it’s still fun to get your favorite magazine in the mail :).

7. The Bouqs Flower Subscription: Forget buying her flowers for Mother’s Day… set her up for the entire year! SERIOUS bonus points Dads… like seriously! (I just ordered some thank you Bouqs to check them out… I’ll let you know what I think… I hear GREAT things!).

8. Jonathan Adler White Lacquer Tray: Building on my breakfast in bed idea from last year… Do the same… but on a brand new tray that mom will so happily love to display after her morning feast has been finished.
