The DIY Inspiration Board was featured last month… now here’s the debut of the home office redo!

As mentioned in the DIY post, I teamed up with my close friend Natalie’s hubby to play Renovation Raiders while she was away on a business trip. We had three days to makeover her office, with Jeff getting all of the “grunt” work done (sorry Jeff)… and each of us picking out specific style elements.

Jeff has actually posted here before. If I were ever to team up with someone’s husband… this is the guy to do it with… MAJE style points!

He tackled the cleanup and paintwork the first day, then accessories (including kick ass lamp and original photography), bookcases and storage, and styling the following two. I gave my two cents on chair and rug choices, sourced the chandelier and desk, built the inspiration board, and added a few more pieces of art to the mix.

Natalie is uber sexy, stylish and sophisticated all wrapped into one… so we wanted to help her office reflect that too. The previous space had it’s moments, but needed to grow up (and clean up) just a little bit.

I think the new version is perfectly streamlined and glam… don’t you?

The main workspace… After: CB2 chair, West Elm rug, Pampa desk, West Elm Curtains, and a Kick ass Kate Moss photo.

The main workspace… Before: The new desk was switched to the adjacent wall, as seen above, and the pink was toned down and relegated to the ceiling (you’ll see below ;)).

Natalie is an account executive for Smashbox. You’ll see nods to her beauty profession with lip prints and beauty shots galore…

So fresh and so clean, clean…

How dope is the lamp that Jeff found (yes, I said dope) from One King’s Lane (Shade from Lamps Plus)…

Storage and photo wall… Before

Storage and photo wall… After: Ikea bookcase, Crate and Barrel shelf, Kelly Wearstler Big Kiss Lips, Avia Rosen original family photography and Nicholas Maggio original photography.

Inspiration wall/corner… Before (sorry Natalie)…

Inspiration wall/corner… After: Jonathan Adler jars, Made By Girl Je T’aime art print, Vintage Inspiration board by Me, and Cabinet Hardware from Liz’s Antique Hardware.

See that lovely pink ceiling? Flower drum shade ceiling light from Shades of Light…

LOVE the antique hardware… Jeff rocked these!

Kelly Wearstler bronze hand… and a sweet note to the Boss Lady from the hubby…
