If you LOVE design and styling, AND you have a penchant for buying LOADS of coffee table books… then this holiday season is MEANT for you!

A crop of the most uber talented designer/stylists/bloggers published their books this year, and they are yummy, and pretty, and inspiring, and affordable and will make THE best gifts (for friends or for yourself, of course).

With this much competition… any girl without confidence would have run screaming straight into 2016… but not these ladies. They have such a unique point of view (and strong friendships to boot), that it proves there is a place in the creative marketplace for all, if you have the will and determination.

Bravo girls! You brought the house down, and built up our coffee tables with stylish aplomb!

The above piece of eye candy is from Anne Sage, and you need it… like…now. On point photography, advice for all aesthetics, and art directed styling tips based on the type of life you lead. Unique and oh-so-lovely.

Emily Henderson decided to birth a baby and a book simultaneously. I mean… seriously (#lifegoals)!  There are so many wonderful tips to take home from this New York Times Bestseller (congrats Emily!). I even used her advice on my latest project when I felt stuck… SO many takeaways!

Joy Cho… another one of Los Angeles’ immensely talented ladies, released her book in April. She has almost 13 million Pinterest followers. Enough said!

Lauren Liess, of Pure Style Home, launched her book in October, and it is chock full of gorgeous images and sound decorating advice. I love the unexpected neutral cover!

If you desire a little more fashion and beauty advice in your life… then Garance Dore is the chicest friend you could ask for. She’s French, and beautiful, but also silly and self-depracating. This is one woman who doesn’t take herself too seriously, and you’ll love her even more for it. Buy the book.

Anna Spiro is a fabulous Australian designer and maker of the most gorgeous wallpaper (I used it in my E-Deesign client’s New York entryway… reveal coming soon!). Absolutely Beautiful Things is everything you love about color, textiles, patterns, vintage finds, and mixing things up!

The “boho” movement is here to stay, and Justina Blakeney does it right. Her interior shots are fun, full of color, and JUST the right amount of pattern and plants to look “cool and collected”, just as her book title promises.

At this point… Apartment Therapy is pretty much the arbiter of cool interiors, and as they stated themselves… this book is a textbook for creating your own happy space. All original homes and photography. Swoon!
